chodata purusa-abhimana kinkari hailun aji, kana! (1)
O Krishna! Today, I will give up the pride thinking that everything is for my enjoyment, and become Your maidservant.
baraja-bipine sakhi-satha sevana karabun, radha-natha! (2)
O beloved of Sri Radha! I wish to engage in Your service in the forest of Vrindavana, under the guidance of the sakhis.
kusume ganthabun hara tulasi-mani-manjari tara (3)
I will prepare a beautiful garland of flowers and tulasi manjaris.
yatane deobun sakhi-kare hate laoba sakhi adare (4)
After preparing the garland, I will offer it with devotion to a sakhi, who will then accept it with great affection.
sakhi diba tuva duhuka gale durata herabun kutuhale (5)
The sakhi will then offer the garland to Sri Sri Radha and Krishna and I will happily watch Them from a distance.
sakhi kahaba, - suna sundari! rahabi kunje mama kinkari (6)
The sakhi will then say: „ Listen, O beautiful one! Stay with me in my cottage as my maidservant!“
ganthabi mala mano-harini niti radha-krishna-vimohini (7)
„ You should daily prepare enchanting flower garlands for Sri Sri Radha and Krishna.“
tuva raksana-bhara hamara mama kunja-kutira tohara (8)
„ Now it is my responsibility to look after you. My grove is now your residence as well.“
radha-madhava-sevana-kale rahabi hamara antarale (9)
„ When I engage in the service of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna, you should stay by my side and assist me.“
tambula saji’ karpura ani’ deobi moe apana jani (10)
„You will place betel nuts mixed with camphor on a plate and bring it to me.“
bhakativinoda suni’ bata sakhi-pade kare pranipata (11)
After hearing the sakhi’s words, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura offers his loving obeisances at her lotus feet.
